She has been heard in concerts locally in Minnesota and abroad throughout Spain and Brazil. Ms. Stroncek sings in a variety of ensembles and collaborative settings in the Twin Cities, performing with groups such as Border CrosSing, MPLS-imPulse, the Minnesota Chorale, and The First Readings Project. She is an avid recitalist with a deep-seated passion for art song and has participated in the Barcelona Festival of Song and Source Song Festival. Ms. Stroncek has recently moved back to Minnesota after spending the past 2 years researching and performing Brazilian vocal repertoire in Brasília, Brazil as a recipient of Fulbright grants.  As a language instructor, Ms. Stroncek has worked as a Portuguese tutor and a Spanish Pre-K Immersion teacher and has assisted in English classrooms in Spain, Germany, and Brazil.

In 2018-2019, Ms. Stroncek performed recitals in Brasília and Belo Horizonte, Brazil and sang with ensembles such as the Seraphic Fire Professional Choral Institute at Aspen Music Festival, Madrigal de Brasília, MPLS-imPulse, the First Readings Project, and Border CrosSing.

Singing is an excellent way to relieve stress, explore a creative outlet, and even learn or improve language skills! My teaching is rooted in the classical tradition to build a solid foundation that will allow for flexibility in style. Together we will identify your goals and work towards them with customized lessons focusing on shaping a healthy sound that is unique to you. In voice lessons, you can expect to build technique through vocal exercises, develop sight-singing and theory skills, learn a piece of music, explore its meaning and experiment with different ways to express it. In piano lessons, you can expect to establish foundational piano skills and a basic understanding of theory. In my years working with Pre-K students, I have observed the enthusiasm that younger children have for music and learning. I am thrilled to offer lessons for students starting at age 4 to begin building a lifelong appreciation for music. Piano and Voice lessons conducted in Spanish or Portuguese available upon request.
